The College & Career Center (CCC) is a shared service for all small schools of the Woodburn High School campus (AIS, WAAST, WACA, WeBSS) and Success Alternative High School. The College & Career Center provides the following support and services/events:
- College & Career Advising/Counseling

APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID:
What is FAFSA & The Student Aid Report?: a short video about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
apply for an FSA ID: You can apply for an FSA ID at any time. All students need to have an FSA ID in order to submit your FAFSA electronically. Parents are also eligible for an FSA ID if they are a US citizen or legal permanent resident. A parent can use the same FSA ID for each of their children applying for financial aid via the FAFSA. Parents’ immigration status has not effect on student’s ability to receive aid.
Apply for Federal Financial Aid via FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) you cannot apply for FAFSA for the following academic year until October 1st of prior academic year. For example if you are applying for the 2020-2021 school year you can begin applying on October 1st of 2019, using 2018 income information.
Oregon Student Aid Application (the FAFSA alternative) for students who are not U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
SAT & ACT TESTING + PREP
SAT and/or ACT exams are required for admission to 4-year colleges and universities. Woodburn High School students are eligible to take each test free twice during their high school career (typically spring of junior year and fall of senior year). Practice tests and study guides are available Khan Academy and on the ACT website.
