Preschool Program Information

Woodburn School District offers four Preschool Promise classrooms with a total capacity of 72 students. Funded by the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC), this program serves children ages 3–4 who reside in Marion or Polk County and meet income eligibility requirements. Preschool Promise classrooms follow the district's Spanish-English dual language model, providing high-quality early learning in both languages.

Woodburn School District offers one Title I, Part C (Migrant Education) preschool classroom with a capacity of 16 students. Enrollment is available to children who are eligible for Title I, Part C services and reside within the district boundaries. The program serves children ages 3–4 and follows the district's Spanish-English dual language model, providing students with a strong foundation for bilingualism and biliteracy.

Woodburn School District offers two Title I, Part A preschool classrooms designed to provide high-quality early learning opportunities for children who do not qualify for the Preschool Promise or Title I, Part C (Migrant Education) programs. Families must reside within the district boundaries to be eligible.

One classroom is located at Heritage Elementary School and serves 20 students through the district's Russian-English dual language model. The second classroom serves 18 students and follows the district's Spanish-English dual language model. Both programs serve preschool-aged children, with enrollment priority given to students who will be transitioning to kindergarten (age 4 and older).
