Functional Intensive Learning Center

This specialized classroom option provides core instruction and specially designed instruction for students that are performing significantly below grade level and require a high to intensive level of structure, individualized strategies/routines, and support throughout their entire day. The focus of instruction often includes areas of functional academics, communication, self-help, independent living, leisure, safety, personal and social skill training, and community and vocational skills.  Students in this setting are often working towards alternative standards. This is a district level program provided at Lincoln Elementary, Valor Middle School, and Woodburn High School.
