What is an instructional framework?
An instructional framework is a document created by teachers in the district, that describes the research based best practice strategies that teachers in the Woodburn School District will use to teach students. While the 4 domains of the Marzano Framework provide the general categories that all licensed staff use to continually improve their practice, the Instructional Frameworks provide additional specificity by content area so that teachers can make the best possible instructional decisions in each subject for their students.
