Biography 

Juan Larios has worked for WSD for 23 years having started in 2001 as a 5th
grade Bilingual Spanish teacher at Lincoln Elementary. Through the years he
has positively impacted and successfully led different levels of the
Woodburn School District (WSD). He has also served as an assistant
principal at Heritage Elementary, principal at Washington Elementary,
principal at the Academy of International Studies on the Woodburn High
School Campus, Director of School Performance, Acting Superintendent,
Interim Superintendent and most recently serving as the District's
Assistant Superintendent. Larios is committed to engaging, inspiring and
preparing each student from WSD to learn, lead, and contribute toward an
equitable community, both locally and globally.

Larios is committed to the WSD and the Woodburn community. He is a member
of several service organizations and a frequent volunteer. His wife,
Jessica, is a Woodburn high school teacher and his children attend Woodburn
schools.

Larios obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degrees in
Education from Western Oregon University; he obtained his administrator
licensure from Portland State University and his continuing administrator
license from George Fox University.
