Office of the Superintendent
Our promise is to engage, inspire, and prepare all students to learn and lead in a global society.
Message from the Superintendent:
It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Woodburn School District and provide an overview of our local public schools.
Woodburn schools provide a world class education to almost 5,800 students in grades K-12 across four elementary, two middle and five small high schools. Students have the opportunity to graduate with a bilingual education and an International Baccalaureate Diploma, and can accelerate their learning through the Advanced Placement (AP) Program.
We are accountable to our taxpayers, parents and students and are good stewards of the tax dollars we receive. Woodburn School District operates under a balanced budget and follows a long-term Strategic Plan that guides our decisions and planning.
Education has the power to transform our community, our nation, and our world to become the place we want our children and grandchildren to inherit.
Yet, we are facing some challenges that will require our community’s help. For several years we have had severe budget cuts at the state and federal levels and we need to provide adequate space to educate our growing student population.
Your support and involvement in our public schools will help us prepare our children to be the global leaders of tomorrow.
