in grades K-12 across four elementary,
two middle and five small high schools.
The Woodburn School District offers a comprehensive K-12 After School Program. In collaboration with community partners and others, our program elements include STEM, academics, community service, enrichment, and recreation. Our high quality staff and programs allow a safe place for Woodburn students to spend their out-of-school time, while growing socially and academically.
The promise of the Woodburn After School Club is to enrich, inspire and motivate all students during out-of-school time though a safe, inclusive environment that supports academics and provides opportunities not available during the regular school day.

Due to changes in the Remind application, we have consolidated all of our Remind groups into one group.
The After School Club provides elementary students enrichment, academic and recreational activities. Each day the ASC provides structured activities that are designed for children according to their age. Some activities include crafts, classic games, literacy, physical activity, homework time, STEM, technology and more!
At most sites, the ASC provides up to two meals daily, a supper immediately after school dismissal and a snack at about 5PM. For the menu, please visit Nutrition Services.
The After School Program operates at the elementary level from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m. Students must be picked up by 5:30 PM. There is a one dollar fee per minute after 5:45 pm.
Middle School students are given the opportunity to learn about topics and participate in activities that are not readily available during the school day. The academic component ensures that students who participate in the After School Program will also be more successful in their school work.
The After School Program at the high school is focused around tutoring and homework time. It allows students to have access to computers and the support of instructors outside of the regular school day.
The High School ASC is a Drop-in Program! No registration needed!
In 2019 Woodburn School District moved from an all-or-nothing scholarship system to a modern, sliding scale fee system. Much effort went into that process. To learn more about that, please visit our blog.
